Lanzarote Tennis Breaks

Lanzarote Tennis Breaks

We have been delivering tennis breaks in Lanzarote for 14 years and gained a detailed knowledge of the island along the way. It started by word of mouth amongst various clubs Mike had connections to or players he had worked with. It has slowly grown over the years and is now a regular destination for many groups that have enjoyed their tennis with New Forest Tennis Breaks. In this way a bespoke tennis break has been enjoyed and continues to be offered. Lanzarote is an ideal tennis destination. Situated off the coast of Africa, Lanzarote is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. Lanzarote enjoys a mild, dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from 21°C in January to 29°C in August. Primarily based at the Fariones Tennis Centre close to the sandy beaches and Old Town area of Puerto Del Carmen. The centre includes tennis courts, padel tennis, pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna and restaurants to enjoy before or after tennis. The tennis weekends are typically Thursday to Tuesday with a scheduled 4 hours play a day. The weekends are best suited to pre-organised tennis groups between 3-8 players.

Wow - this was a great break! Having been on tennis holidays before, I had high expectations of one based in the uk. Well organised, amazing coaching, great people, great accommodation, great pubs and in a beautiful part of the country! The organisers certainly know their stuff about the locality an aspect often missing when visiting new places. It was the perfect combination of fun, exercise and relaxed socialising. A good session of physical activity in the morning with tips and drills around a central theme that runs through the weekend to progress your tennis. A slow lunch and more on court time, all capped off with a guided tour of the better drinking establishments locally! Thoroughly recommended!

The hotel and surroundings are very relaxing with pleasant comfortable rooms. The tennis courts feel like they are in deep countryside , well kept and conductive to learning plenty of useful tennis tactics in a small group of like-minded players. Coaching was aimed at consolidating and improving game play and building upon current strengths and learning new mental skills. We played challenging tennis and enjoyed relaxing leisure time including swimming! We had a great dinner in the Lymington yacht haven with great views towards Isle of Wight. All in all a great break!

Targeted, focused, fun! I return home each time justifiably more confident in my mental approach to the game and what’s more my opponents notice! Mike keeps us continually challenged to achieve higher levels. Add to that a stunning location and delicious food. What a great way to spend a weekend amongst friends!
