Former National Performance Coach and National Team Captain with experience spanning elite federation systems, global academy environments, and full‑time professional tour competition.
Actively integrated within WTA and ATP competitive structures and across the ITF Junior and Professional Circuits, including Davis Cup, Fed Cup, and Olympic pathways. Guided athletes from foundational development through ITF World No. 1 juniors, Grand Slam junior champions, national champions, and NCAA Division I recruits — supporting not only technical progression but the emotional and competitive demands of international performance.

Head Coach – Holmenkollen Tennisklubb | Oslo, Norway | 2025–Present
Direct leadership of 30 elite juniors within the Tennis Futures High‑Performance Group, including five current and former Team Norway national squad members. Responsible for multiple Norwegian National Champions across age divisions. Oversee coach recruitment, leadership development, and mentorship. Designed and implemented a national‑level high‑performance structure that gained rapid recognition within Norwegian tennis.
Head Coach – Halden Tennisklubb | Norway | 2025
Recruited to lead southern Norway’s most competitive junior club, featuring five of Norway’s top‑ranked juniors across age divisions, including three Team Norway representatives. Implemented structured performance curriculum and directed club‑wide competitive pathway.
ITF Junior Tour Coach – Hong Kong | 2023–2024
Full‑time private coach to Chiu Kwan Nina Wang (Hong Kong No. 1 U12 & U14; Top 8 Asian Tennis Federation U14) and Ling Fung Lionel Ng (Hong Kong No. 2 U16; No. 4 U14). Trained and traveled internationally on the ITF Junior World Tour. Both athletes secured multiple Hong Kong National Junior Championship titles.
Technical Director – ATP Official Development Center – Hong Kong | 2022–2023
Appointed Technical Lead for ATP partnership launch with PacificPine Sports. Integrated ATP performance standards into national training structure. Transitioned eight Hong Kong National Training Squad athletes into the ATP pathway. Worked with Junior Davis Cup players, national champions, and leading ITF juniors.
National Performance Coach – Hong Kong, China Tennis Association | 2019–2023
One of four National Performance Coaches at the National Training Center. Worked exclusively with Hong Kong’s top 24 nationally ranked junior athletes. Lead Development Coach for Junior Davis Cup Squad. Girls U14 National Team Captain at ITF World Junior Tennis Championships and international competitions.
Private High‑Performance Coach – USA | 2017–2019
Full‑time USTA and ITF Junior Development Coach. Developed a Top‑20 USTA Boys’ 14s national player and supported NCAA Division I transition pathways.
Head Coach – Tennis Club Odense | Denmark | 2014–2017
Directed full technical and performance structure across junior and senior programs at an ITF‑recognized national club. Contributed to early development of Johanne Svendsen (ITF Junior World No. 14; WTA No. 361; Billie Jean King Cup representative). Elevated Odense as a national development center.
International Private High‑Performance Coach – USA • Sweden • Denmark • Spain | 2009–2014
Private coach to Swedish and U.S. nationally ranked No. 1 players (birth year). Long‑term developmental coach to Kaylan Bigun (ITF Junior World No. 1; 2024 Roland Garros Junior Champion) and Meecah Bigun (U.S. Junior Davis Cup Finalist).
Head Coach – Smash Tennis Academy | Cairo, Egypt | 2007–2009
Directed Africa’s largest tennis academy, overseeing 1,000+ players and 25+ professional coaches. Worked with Egyptian National Team athletes, African Junior Champions, and ITF Top 200 players transitioning to NCAA Division I and II programs.
WTA Tour & ITF Professional Circuit Coach –Global Travel | 2000–2008
Full‑time tour coach on the WTA and ITF professional circuits. Coached Sunitha Rao (WTA No. 144; 2008 Olympian), Vilmarie Castellví (WTA No. 125; Fed Cup), and Alla Kudryavtseva (WTA No. 56 Singles; No. 15 Doubles). Supported professional athletes competing in Grand Slam events and WTA main draws.
FOUNDATIONAL TOUR & ACADEMY DEVELOPMENT ROLES (USA and Beyond) 1988–2000
Founder & Director, The Eastburn Group – Developed 12+ nationally ranked U.S. Top 30 juniors; athletes earned 33+ USTA Gold, Silver, and Bronze Balls. Coached multiple U.S. National Team representatives and NCAA Division I All‑Americans. Early development coach to Alison Riske (WTA No. 18).
Director of Player Recruitment, Palmer Academy (Saddlebrook) – Built international federation network; daily on‑court work during the Jennifer Capriati era.

The Journey and Scope
Across decades in international tennis, I have worked on six continents in roles ranging from private high‑performance coach to academy director, national program leader, and tour‑level performance coach. My experience has taken me from players’ boxes across the professional tour, to daily training environments alongside tennis legends such as Harry Hopman, Pete Sampras, Jim Courier, and Jennifer Capriati, to sitting courtside at Fed Cup Finals, Grand Slam Finals, and junior national team competitions around the world.
I have contributed to the progress of nationally ranked juniors, national champions, collegiate All‑Americans, Grand Slam junior champions, Olympic medalists, and ATP/WTA professionals during important stages of their careers. Whether working one‑to‑one with an athlete, mentoring coaches, or leading a broader performance structure, my role has remained consistent — elevate standards, strengthen habits, and prepare competitors to perform under pressure.
I am a hands‑on coach who leads from the front. Standards are demonstrated daily through preparation, discipline, and consistency. Trust is earned through presence and reliability. Players and coaches respond when expectations are clear and effort is visible.
Working across six continents has required adaptability and respect for different cultures, systems, and performance expectations. I am comfortable contributing in private environments, academies, clubs, and national federations — wherever there is commitment to development, learning, competitive growth, and the constant pursuit of progress – at any level.
My purpose is simple: impact the players and coaches I am tasked to lead, demonstrate real-time leadership by leading from the front, raise competitive standards, and contribute to programs that aim to perform at the highest level over time.
