I am excited to apply for the position of Tennis and Padel Coach at any club. With a lifelong passion for tennis, international coaching experience, and strong certification credentials, I am eager to contribute my skills and energy to your program.

My career in tennis began at the age of nine as a Ball-Boy at Limbe Country Club in Blantyre, Malawi, and grew into playing at junior level before representing Malawi. Today, I am an ITF Play & Stay certified coach (Tennis South Africa) and hold a Level One certification from the Israel Tennis Federation. Alongside my coaching expertise, I am also a qualified racket stringer.

Since 2018, I have coached in diverse environments, starting as a volunteer in underprivileged communities in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 2022, I was invited to join Yaron Idan Tennis in Israel, where I coached players of all levels and expanded my knowledge of cultural and training approaches. Currently based in Germany, I am committed to continuing my journey as a coach who inspires resilience, joy, and growth through sport.

I bring not only technical expertise but also adaptability and a strong work ethic, honed by international experience across Africa, Israel, and Europe. I am fluent in English, conversational in Hebrew, and actively learning German to integrate further into my current environment.

About Me

I am a dedicated development tennis and padel coach with experience training players of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced. This versatility enables me to connect with each individual, communicate effectively, and adapt my coaching style to suit their unique needs.

My approach promotes a competitive, safe, productive, and student-centered environment where every player is individually recognized while contributing to the overall success of the team. I bring a diverse set of skills and coaching methods, with a focus on both individual growth and team development.

I am committed to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for children, encouraging them to enhance their skills while building confidence. My goal is not to isolate or discourage players, but to support their development through steady methods and consistent practice.

We first discovered Carlos through social media (Facebook), where he introduced himself as a community tennis coach dedicated to collecting children from the streets and teaching them tennis. Remarkably, he did this without asking for payment, only appealing for small donations to sustain his work. Curious and inspired, we decided to pay him a surprise visit. We found him on court with the children, coaching them despite many challenges. He lacked proper coaching certification, the courts he used had no nets, the children practiced without shoes, and he had only a few rackets and balls to share among them.
