Cédrick Commin

I was ranked No. 79 in the ITF Junior World Rankings at the age of 16, and I competed in the Australian Open Junior and Roland Garros. I also reached an ATP ranking of 741. Leaving the family cocoon at the age of 12 allowed me to acquire skills such as autonomy, effort, pleasure, organisation, teamwork and discipline. I was a member of the French tennis federation and the French team until the age of 17 and then I joined the Monaco Davis Cup team. Living and training with the best players (Djokovic, Cilic, Medvedev, Zverev…) and coaches in the world in Monaco for 2 years and then in Italy with Bob Brett for 2 years helped me to become aware of the role of a “tennis coach” in the development of his players on and off the court.

In addition to my tennis background, I hold a degree in Accounting and Management. I worked in auditing and accounting firms, where I developed a strong foundation in high-level organization and time management. These were high-pressure environments with strict deadlines, significant financial stakes, and real human consequences — all of which demanded precision, resilience, and the ability to perform under stress.

Through this experience, I strengthened my ability to work within a team, to stay effective in unstable or rapidly changing environments, and to maintain clarity and leadership when stakes are high.

These skills directly translate into high-performance coaching and leadership in elite sports structures. They empower me not only to coach world-class players, but also to act as a strategic and resilient Performance Director — capable of building and leading a high-performance program at the highest level.
