  • Coached and played cricket professionally in England and Holland.
  • Major contributor to successful cricket, tennis and table tennis teams in both cricket and tennis by winning local, provincial and national championships.
  • College Sportsman of the year 2 years in a row – first person to do so.
  • Sales and Key Account Management – Built and maintained trusted and commercially sound relationships with key customers in New Zealand, Australia and the UK for Frucor Beverages Ltd; in 2001 became the leading Sales Representative in the UK-based role in terms of new product sales and total volumes sold.
  • A successful administrative career at the University of Queensland.
