My name is Daniela Koleva, and I am a passionate tennis coach and former NCAA Division I student-athlete with a lifelong love for the game. Having grown up around tennis, I developed a strong work ethic, competitive mindset, and appreciation for helping others improve both on and off the court.
Over the past two years, I have worked as a tennis coach, leading junior programs, camps, private lessons, and fitness training sessions for players of various ages and skill levels. My coaching philosophy focuses on creating a positive, energetic environment where players can develop their technical skills, confidence, and love for the sport.
Most recently, I completed an International Coaching Course in Budapest at the Hungarian University of Sports Science, where I had the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches, explore modern coaching methods, and further develop my understanding of athlete development.
As a former Division I tennis player, I understand the dedication, discipline, and resilience required to succeed in sports. I enjoy sharing those experiences with my players and helping them reach their goals while making training both challenging and enjoyable.
I am excited about the opportunity to bring my enthusiasm, experience, and passion for tennis to your program and contribute to a positive experience for every player I work with.

About Me
I have been involved in tennis for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a father who is also a tennis coach, I was introduced to the sport at a very young age and quickly developed a passion for both playing and learning the game. This journey eventually led me to compete as an NCAA Division I student-athlete in the United States, where I honed my skills, learned the value of discipline and teamwork, and gained experience balancing high-level athletics with academic success.
Beyond tennis, I have a strong interest in fitness, health, and athlete development. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, and I enjoy applying this knowledge to help athletes improve their performance and overall well-being. I am particularly interested in the connection between physical preparation and on court success. Most recently, I completed an International Coaching Course in Budapest, where I expanded my coaching knowledge and gained valuable insights into modern athlete development.
Outside of coaching and sport, I enjoy traveling, hiking, exploring different cultures, spending time outdoors, and staying active through various forms of exercise. Having lived, studied, and worked in several countries, I value meeting new people, building meaningful connections, and continuously learning from different experiences. I bring positive energy, enthusiasm, and a growth mindset to everything I do, and I strive to create an environment where athletes can develop not only as players but also as confident individuals.
