I’ve been a tennis coach for over a decade and I’m incredibly passionate about improving players. I’ve worked with all levels throughout my career and can adapt to any age and stage. I don’t like to take days off so only when I’m forced by illness. Christmas and Boxing Day are my only scheduled days off! I love hard work and try to make sessions intense and fun, as well as providing knowledge to whoever I’m teaching. I love the game as well as learning more about tennis and other sports. I try to take different aspects of all sports into my coaching. Mental and physical. I love to learn and improve every day!

About Me
I grew up playing football and made the switch to tennis at 11. I was helping out with football coaching at 10 as an assistant/helper and once I fell in love with tennis did that from 12, this was to gain access to individual lessons. I played 20+ hours p/week until I was 17.
I worked on my game usually alone and coached myself with ball machines, hitting partners and wiser older players giving me little tips along the way. However I’ve always been more interested in the coaching side.
I don’t get much time for other hobbies as I’m always working, but in my down time I like to go to the gym, I love to play chess, padel and occasionally hit golf balls on the range. I enjoy Muay Thai also but unfortunately don’t get a chance to train at it much.
I’ll always try to watch football if I’m not working or active also and of course tennis, although tennis is more for my own learning than pure enjoyment.
I’ve known I wanted to coach from my early teens and all I’ve ever known. I did sports coaching and fitness at college which allowed me to continue learning whilst working as a tennis coach. I’ve also started working within Padel and love the difference in the sports.
I chose not to continue playing competitively at university abroad and decided to start my full time coaching career instead, so love the idea of doing what I love in another country and culture.

Testimonial
I have known Danny and seen him coach for 3 years now. I haven’t met many people with the enthusiasm for coaching that Danny has. He has amazing and infectious energy that he brings to his lessons which transfers to his students. All his students quite clearly love lessons with Danny and furthermore show quick improvements because of his coaching. He has a great ability to meet each individuals needs depending on age and skill level which maximises enjoyment and development in both group and individual lessons. Danny is an asset to any coaching team and I would highly recommend him.
