Born in Bergamo in Italy, Davide Negrotti is a skilled and very passionate professional with 7 years of experience as a professional player and 5 years as a coach. The Italian national reached the rank #1907 in the ATP ranking as well as the Italian classification of 2.5 winning many various national tournaments. Throughout my career, Davide has competed and trained with some renowned players such as Tsitsipas, Rublev, Shapovalov, or Berrettini to name a few.

Mr. Davide Negrotti represented an important figure in the training of athletes at ours Sports Association. His contribution was very useful and multidirectional, from the help in carrying out the tennis lessons to the careful and meticulous athletic preparation work aimed at agonists, even with an important contribution motivational and playful. From 2018 to today he has been our athlete with excellent personal and team results, being also an important player point of reference for companions. In October 2018 he started the activity of athletic trainer and teacher becoming a reference point for parents and athletes. Davide has been an official sparring partner at the US Open and Wimbledon as well as other ATP and WTA tournaments. He has also collaborated with the Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska during a 8 months contract helping her to break into the top 100 WTA coming from the 500 WTA ranking.

Since October 2021, Davide has joined LUX Tennis and has been assigned to Patina Maldives to launch the new partnership as the resident tennis professional. Davide has been in charge fo half a year to lead the tennis operations and offer the guests a unique first-class experience on the tennis court at Patina Maldives.

01/09/22 – 01/01/23: Joali Maldives Luxury Resort

For 4 months i was responsible of all the Tennis and Padel activities, billing procedures and month-end reports achieving great results and excellent contacts with the guests.

2021-22-23: Events with Players

1 week long of collaboration with each of these important players as Martina Hingis, Nicolas Almagro and Iva Majoli where we welcomed the guests at the cocktail party, played an exhibition match and finally booked private lessons for the interested guests.

2017-18-19: Sparring Partner

I have played in all of the ATP and WTA grass tournaments, at the USA OPEN and at the renowned Federal Vavassori Tennis Academy.

2017: WTA World Coach

I coached and followed Dayana Yastremska (UKR) for several months, achieving her climb in the ranking from n. 500 up to the top 100 in the world.

2016 – Present: Pontirolo Tennis Club and Freelance

I have prepared personalized and targeted physical, mental and tennis workouts daily for students of all ages in various Tennis Centers achieving excellent results and victories in notable tournaments.
