I am a very active person involved in Tennis, baseball and basketball playing and coaching. Growing up in Philadelphia and attending college on a scholarship which led to a career in multiple sports. Played basketball in Uruguay and Israel for the Maccabiah USA team. Owned and operated EW Sales and Marketing, Inc. while raising a family and working full time.
Once my business career ended, I then pursued a full-time career as a USPTA coach, teacher, business consultant, youth Coach of all ages, advisor to start up tennis clubs including my own. Tennis has created a great opportunity to travel, spread the love of the game thought the resort industry.
Owning my own business has taught me how to work with people throughout the hospitality business and relate to players of all levels and ages as well a academies and clubs.
Ed enjoys meeting people of all ages and ability. In my off time, loves playing tennis, watching baseball, football and basketball. Time relaxing with his grand sons and hanging with his wife Susan of 50 years.
Time in the sun, feet in the sand and listening to his play list.
My motto is live, love and play!

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing in total of support of Coach Ed Weiner as a professional tennis coach. I have known Coach Weiner for over three years, and he is one of the most influential and personable coaches I have met. As a former collegiate coach myself, it has become easy to recognize other coaches who get it. Coach Ed is not only knowledgeable about tennis for all ages, but he works well with all age groups from the 3-year-olds to the 103-year-olds. He is able to intertwine skill practice with humor and relatable experiences for all players. He has been integral in the development of the tennis program at Planet Swim & Tennis in Ponte Vedra, FL. He built the program from the ground up, providing group lessons, private lessons and multiple leagues for both members and the community. At some times, he has been the only tennis pro available and putting in several 12+ hour days at the club. It is a privilege and an honor to recommend Coach Ed. Words are not able to describe the positive influence he provides to the tennis community, but also to society. I am so blessed to call him a mentor and friend. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out, Kind Regards, Jennifer Ritter, MS MA

Coach Ed’s ability to coach tennis, including our teenage son, is second to none. His passion for tennis and coaching tennis is apparent to anyone that has the privilege of knowing him. My wife and I have on several occasions commented that we don’t know where our son would be without Coach Ed’s guidance. His ability to coach has gone well beyond our expectations and has evolved into more than just coaching tennis. Coach Ed has taught our son many lessons, including the value of hard work, honesty and integrity. The lessons he has taught our son extend well beyond the tennis court and will serve him in many aspects in his development both on and off the court. Coach Ed possesses the knowledge, ability and desire to manage the development of the high- performance tennis athlete. We have seen it firsthand with our son and we are grateful for Coach Ed’s guidance as our son works towards realizing his potential. His enthusiasm for the sport is apparent and we count ourselves as fortunate to have Coach Ed involved in the development of our son into a young adult and a high-performance tennis athlete. Ed Weiner is a colleague as well as a good friend. When we coached together for a few years at Planet Swim Tennis Club the first thing I noticed was Ed’s positive energy on the courts. He made all of his students feel as if they were the most important ones on the court. His level of professionalism was also very apparent to me as he coached every tennis player on proper technique and strategy. Plus together we made our clinics fun. Some music with a great mix of humor was a winning combination. Ed would be a great addition to any program. Ed also encouraged me with my goals as a HS coach when we took our school to its first ever State Championship. Lucky to have met him and call him a friend.
