Overview:
Irish 21-year-old Sports Management & Coaching student in SETU Carlow. Studying towards an NFQ Level 8 qualification, the soccer-specific course provides a comprehensive understanding of a wide variety of areas relating to elite-level football. These include the UEFA C & B Licences, Strength & Conditioning, Performance Analysis and Sports Finance & Marketing. Experienced in working within clubs at League of Ireland Women’s Premier Division & Academy level, in addition to the grassroots game in both Ireland & the USA.
Current Role:
Working towards the UEFA B Licence, I’m currently undertaking my university work placement semester, where I am working as a coach with Evolution Soccer Club in Colleyville TX.
Coaching Outlook:
In terms of my coaching values & principles, I believe in a holistic approach to the development of young players, which includes providing them with clear, detailed, and specific information centred on the needs of both the team as a whole and the individual player. Over the past 6 years, I have held a number of different roles in football, learning and improving from each experience.

- First-hand experience leading coaching & player development sessions within a grassroots underage club in the US.
- Responsible for managing and developing assigned boys’ & girls’ youth soccer teams within a competitive environment.
- Fully integrated into the organisation’s coaching staff & experience in performing additional duties within the club.
COACH-ANALYST
SETU Carlow Men’s A Team
September to December 2024
- Hybrid coach & performance analyst role with the men’s university first-team, competing at CUFL Premier Division level.
- Assisted in delivering high-quality & detail-orientated coaching sessions to student-athletes.
- Responsible for analysis (PA) duties within the coaching staff, providing key-detail & video insights into the team’s performances.

SUMMER CAMP HEAD COACH

- Managed & Co-ordinated 6 football-focussed summer camps across 5 club environments over 8 weeks.
- Organised & overseen the preparation and day-to-day running of weekly football programmes in line with FAI Camps objectives & curriculums and child-welfare best practices.
- Communicated effectively with numerous stakeholders over the course of the summer (including Camp Players, Parents, Staff Coaches, Club Venue Co-Ordinators, Wicklow & South Dublin Development Officers and FAI Camps Head Office)
