Giovanne Ballarin

I’m Brazilian/Italian tennis coach with a large experience forming players and on tour as well. I just love the challenger of creating the right atmosphere, of finding out the precision exercise, the ideal progression, the best communication, the correct application, and finally, the honest evaluation of yourself to keep bringing the best to the players.

Experience

2017 – 2023: Owner and Manager of Escola Guga Unidade Ballarin

2008 – 2023: Founder, coordinator and head coach at CFT – Centro de Formação de Tenistas (Centre for Tennis Players Education), in São Paulo

  • Athletes professionalization, such as the Brazilian Pedro Sakamoto and the Taiwanese Pei Ju Chien, as well as educating more than 20 tennis players and guiding them into American universities.

2007 – 2008: Hired coach at Horacio de la Peña Tennis Academy, in Santiago, Chile.

  • I worked in collaboration with Martín Rodrigues, educating Chilean and Argentinian tennis players and introducing them to the professional circuit.

2006 – 2007: Thomaz Bellucci’s sole coach, who climbed from 1040 ATP to 410 ATP;

2004 – 2005: Thiago Alves’ and Thomaz Bellucci’s sole coach.

  • I coached Thiago Alves in Grand Slams, ATPs and Challengers around the globe. Alves started this season in 460 at the ATP ranking, and finished in 125 ATP;

2003 – 2004: Coach responsible for the athletes Julio Silva (who reached 155 ATP), Rogerio Silva (84 ATP), Eric Gomes (270 ATP), Thiago Alves (90 ATP) and Thomaz Bellucci (21 ATP);

2002 – 2003: Training partner and adviser for the former Australian professional player Michael Staniak, at Melbourne Park;
