Hello,my name is Luka Đaković,born in Croatia in 1977 where i started my tennis journey when i was 10 years old and ever since been on the court first as a player then a coach.

About Me
Alongside tennis i am also a security engineer,but tennis is my true calling and over the years learned to easily solve problems or challenges in tennis because of the long experience that i have which is very important when you have to lead others. Also , everything i do , i do in fluent english, german, slovenian and i hope soon also in spanish which always help to reach more people
A lot of my colleagues said , when you introduce yourself always start with – COACH OF A NATIONAL CHAMPION , and it makes sense,but modesty has always been my thing but when something has to be done – 100 %
Experience
Started tennis about 10 years old , first tournaments from 14 years and went through national, european, itf and other competitions including national league competitions with many croatian clubs.To name but a few,starting with tennis club pecine 1998 – 2000 ,tenis club šibenik 2001 – 2003,tenis club zadar 2004 – 2007,than movin out abroad and ccoperating with junior players and remaining there up to last two years the umag tennis academy .
After that, from age of 22 and beyond, I started to spar with pros for about 10 years in which time learned a lot about the sport. I also began to do all the basic training with beginners, advanced, pros and amateurs for many years. This includes juniors that later became successful pros like top 30 wta, and during that time managed some of the best croatian junior players under 16 for couple of yearswhich were national champions.
This helped a lot in terms of experience which all led to my current position at a croatian tennis academy. I handle all aspects of work in UMAG Tennis Academy and cooperating with some major tennis camps like Zischka and Bacher made me convinced that i can take a role of a head coach and advance in that field.
