I’m a tennis coach with lots of experience on the WTA Tour, ITF Pro tour, ITF Juniors and Tennis Europe tournaments but especially on the WTA Tour. I had the privilege to work at more than 20 Grand slams and at all the bigger WTA 1000 tournaments. Besides being a coach I always tried to keep as many as possible peripheral issues away from my players so my players only had to focus on their practice on court and sessions in the gym. This means I took care of as much as possible and almost all organisation stuff as well. I have worked with all ages from 5 years old till pro’s.
Qualifications
I chose working and gaining experience on the tour over any coaching courses. As a player my highest ranking was 61 in singles in the Netherlands and 28 in doubles in the Netherlands.

Experience
I started giving my first recreational lessons to young kids and adults when I was 16 years old in 2011/2012 in Belgium. In 2013 and 2014 I continued with these lessons and started to attend some National tournaments in Belgium as a coach. In 2015 I continued these lessons but also started to attend my first WTA tournaments and Grand Slams with Demi Schuurs as her hitting partner. In 2016 I worked as a hitting partner of Jelena Ostapenko, in the weeks where I didn’t work with Jelena I worked at the Wilson Tennis Academy Genk which is now Wilson Luxilon Tenkie Academy. At the academy I worked with U12, U14, U18 and pro players. Also I travelled for the academy to Tennis Europe tournaments, ITF Junior tournaments and ITF Pro tournaments.
In 2018 I went back to work with Demi Schuurs, this time as her coach. She started the year ranked around 55 WTA doubles and by August she got for the first time in her career into the top 10. That year we made it into won 7 WTA titles including big events like Brisbane, Rome and Montreal. Because of having a different vision on certain things we split despite the successful year we had. During 2018 on several tournaments I combined coaching Schuurs with being the hitting partner of Anett Kontaveit. In 2019 I worked with Anastasiya Komardina, we started working together at the beginning of March with a ranking of 540 WTA singles and by mid September she was ranked 240.
