Founder, Director and Head Coach at Nikshep Tennis Academy. Former ITF Junior 151, ITF Mens singles 835, ATP Doubles 1978 ranked player. Former India no.1 and National Singles and doubles winner in all junior categories of U-12,14,16 & 18. ATP Level B Certified GPTCA International Coach. Been successfully running high performance group at my academy focusing on National and International players from ages 12-24. Best results achieved as coach is ITF J30 Boys singles champion, ITF J30 Girls singles and doubles finalist, India U12 top 10 ranked girl and around 25-30 National ranking titles.

About Me
I started tennis at the age of 7, when I accidentally stumbled upon the 2004 French Open and immediately fell in love with the sport. I followed the whole tournament without knowing the rules and watched Gaston Gaudio win his first and only grandslam. Picked up a racquet and have not looked back ever since. Then I went on to idolise Roger Federer and has been my favourite player ever since.
Apart from tennis I love to read and I’m a Master Graduate in Commerce, specialising in Banking and Finance. World history and intellectual topics interest me.
My hobbies include dancing, video games and travelling. As a tennis player I travelled extensively throughout my career and hence love meeting new people and sharing views.
I also aspire to take up Golf as hobby and someday play at a decent level.
Experience
- 15 years as a professional tennis player, where I was Former India no.1 and Asia no.1, Junior Davis Cupper, Jr Australian Open participant and winner of 70-80 ITF and National ranking tournaments.
- 4 years a professional tennis coach.
- 3 years as Director and Head Coach at Nikshep Tennis Academy, with focus on high performance players (2023 to present)
- 2 months as consultant for Peter Burwash International in Bengaluru for ITF Performance and Red-Orange-Green Developmental programs.
