I am excited to be a member of SportsProConnect. My teaching and playing career spans several decades and have coached at every level including beginner and advanced Club players, Resort players and several former No 1 players in the World. I have a huge passion for Tennis and thrive on enjoying the progress of my students.

About Me
I grew up playing Tennis in New Zealand, played college Tennis in the USA and played most of my Professional Tennis in Europe. Enjoyed playing Singles, but had more success in Doubles. I was fortunate to win a National US Doubles title while in University and in ITF Seniors I went on to win a couple of World ITF Doubles titles and 15 US National Senior Doubles titles. I always had good partners 🙂 I am trilingual and can dabble in a couple of other languages.
I also enjoy Rugby, Cricket, Golf and NFL. Also enjoy playing Cards and before the internet was a prolific letter writer.
Experience
I played Professional Tennis for 4 years and due to a shoulder injury stopped playing full time and have been teaching Tennis and directing Tennis Programs for 4 decades. I coached a World Team Tennis franchise for 13 seasons coaching such legendary Grand Slam Winners as Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Monica Seles, Anna Kournikova, Rick Leach, Ken Flach, Bob and Mike Bryan, Max Mirnyi, Luke and Murphy Jensen.
My teaching Experience stretches 4 decades, being a Tennis Director for 34 years:
- 1989: Tennis Director Kansas City Racquet Club for 2 years….running every aspect of the Tennis Program
- 1991: Tennis Director Mission Hills Country Club in Kansas City for 18 years. ….Running the Tennis Program and owning my own Tennis Shop
- 2010: Tennis Professional at New Albany Country Club in Columbus, Ohio for 1 season…..Taught all levels and coached interclub teams.
- 2011: Tennis Director at Maple Bluff Country Club in Madison, Wisconsin for 6 years….Ran the entire Tennis Program, also owning my own Tennis Shop.
- 2018: Tennis Director at Crestview Country in Wichita, Kansas for 4 years….ran the complete Tennis Program and managed the fitness facility.
- 2022: Tennis Director at Three Village Tennis Club in Setauket, NY for 3 seasons….ran the complete my Tennis shop. Tennis Program and also owned
