Sam's sports performance programs have helped me be faster and output more power on the tennis court. Not only are the exercises well designed, Sam also explains the underlying theory in an easy to understand way, making it easier to focus on the right things during training and apply them during games.

Working with Sam Churchill over the past year has been genuinely transformative for our daughter, Haley. When she first began training with him, she was discouraged and frustrated after seeing very limited progress through traditional scoliosis-focused physiotherapy. Sam approached her differently — focusing not only on physical strength, but also on building confidence, resilience, and trust in her own body again. Under Sam's guidance, Haley can now deadlift 170 lbs, something we never would have imagined possible a year ago. More importantly, she carries herself with a new sense of confidence and determination that extends far beyond the gym. What stands out most about Sam is his ability to balance encouragement, technical knowledge, and genuine care for his clients as individuals. As parents, we are deeply grateful for the positive impact he has had on her strength, mindset, and overall wellbeing. We would recommend Sam without hesitation.

I have been training with Sam for three years, and I can honestly say he has transformed not just my fitness, but my confidence in the gym. From day one, he made me feel comfortable and supported, always approachable and non-judgmental. Talking about weight, nutrition, or struggles was never intimidating — he creates a space where you feel safe and motivated. Sam's guidance, encouragement, and expertise have made a huge difference in my life, and I could not recommend him more.

I have had the privilege of working alongside and managing Sam during his time at Movati Athletic. Throughout his time with us, Sam has provided outstanding service and results to his clients, while also being instrumental in the development of the department as a whole. While with clients, Sam builds lasting connections that truly change their relationships to fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Results are never in question for his clients as he ensures they stay on track and excited to pursue each and every one of their goals. In team development, Sam takes time out of his busy schedule to teach and assist other coaches on the team to develop and hone their own skills and knowledge in order for the team to thrive as a whole. From a managerial perspective, his business is taken care of, KPIs are chased and surpassed, and client renewals continue at an exceptionally high rate, which is due in no small part to the outstanding service he provides day in and day out. Sam would be an incredible addition to any training team or athletics department, and I have no doubt he would improve the quality of any team he is a part of.

I had the privilege of managing Sam Churchill during my time at Movati. Sam was one of the core team members who built the performance coaching department at our location. He was critical in maintaining a strong client base and could always be counted on to step up when needed — whether that meant staying back to resolve an issue or investing time in building relationships with the team. Sam had a large client base that ranged in age and ability, and he was able to adapt his training, conversations, and coaching style to match the needs of each individual. I would highly recommend Sam for a coaching position.

Sam established good rapport with the entire team and was able to set a positive tone. As a coaching staff, we established goals and expectations with the team, and Sam was instrumental in making those expectations stick. He was excellent in individual coaching situations, breaking down key aspects in an encouraging and motivational manner. His approach was supportive and encouraged two-way communication with our players. Sam was a key contributor to the development of individual members based on their skill sets and abilities. He is kind, approachable, and has a positive demeanour that allows him to build strong working relationships.
