Scott Paxton - Tennis Coach

As an ambitious and hardworking tennis professional who has gained seventeen years’ experience as an LTA Accredited+ coach, I have grown into a strong team player who can prioritise effectively. I believe that the responsibilities and achievements that I have gained as a County coach for Hertfordshire U12 Boys, completing my level 5 MCC and obtaining Head Coach positions at previous clubs, have enabled me to take tennis and its ethos into the players, members and counties.

Scott is a very likeable person that can communicate effectively with all age groups. His positive personality is infectious and has rubbed off onto our club members. The feedback received from parents, children and adult members has been tremendous. There have been numerous occasions where Scott has gone above and beyond his duty as Head Coach to help the club with off-court chores. A true asset to the Club.

Pan Dhokia - Chairman

My child has been playing at regional level throughout mini tennis and yellow but as a teenager a combination of injuries and associated frustrations contributed to a closed outcome focused mindset that affected development of their game and stagnated their progress. Scott has an empathy with his players. His approach is clear, focussed and highly engaging not only technically but his understanding of the mental game has been key in reigniting my child’s motivation and developing a more competitive attitude. Scott has had a significant impact on their confidence and performance in a relatively short period of time. I would have no hesitation recommending Scott to any junior player who aims to compete in performance tennis

Sue Eaton Parent

Scott was very receptive to what I was looking to improve, his attention to detail and clear instructions have improved my game both technically and tactically. His individual and block sessions were excellent value for money and allowed us to work on multiple areas of my game. I would highly recommend Scott as a coach.
