Simon Walsh worked for the LTA as a senior touring coach from May 2007 until October 2010. During this time he travelled extensively on both the ITF and WTA circuits where he helped a number of our British girls, most notably, Anne Keothavong, Elena Baltacha, Mel South and Ellie Dean. Simon was instrumental in helping Anne, Elena and Mel to reach the top 100, (Anne &Elena both also went on to achieve top 50). He was also always willing to step on court with our younger players back at the NTC and share his knowledge with everyone. He always demonstrated great passion ni his job and his players always knew he was behind them ni their corner, giving guidance, direction and a huge level of support. Simon has a lively and warm personality and contributed greatly to our Women's Tennis Team in so many ways. I thank him for al his help and wish him well for the future.
