My names are Assani Murisho.

I am an ITF level 2 coach and I’m looking for coaching job position. As a dynamic experienced coach, with 15years of professional experience working with ITF, ATP and WTA players from different backgrounds in order to identify potential, work through obstacles and strengths, and guide players to produce results, through a holitic approach to the players’ all round development,

Experience

COACHING EXPERIENCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 2007:  Private instructor for both children and adults, 40 hours per week with the following roles;

✓ Responsible for group and club teaching environment as well as individual lessons.
✓ Coaching some of the top young talent players in BURUNDI, working closely with directors (including Prince Madema who was East Africa Development Officer) on a daily basis.
✓ Report and supervised by the National Head coach, Hussein Shabani.

2008-2010:  Burundi’s National Assistant coach:

• Assistant coach, I had the following responsibilities:
✓ To instruct my groups.
✓ To supervise all national tennis activities.
✓ To create a successful tennis training plan for each day.
✓ To help with the fitness for our high- performance players to lead the off- side trips.
✓ To help evaluate players and place them within appropriate group.
✓ Other responsibilities also included video analysis of the tennis players.

2011- April 2018: Assistant head Coach of ITF East Africa Training Center

In September 2011, I was appointed as a coach at ITF East Africa Training Center. At the center, my responsibilities are;

✓ To supervise all training center activities, organize group and individual training sessions plan for each day and help with the fitness of our high- performance players to lead the off- side trips.
✓ To help evaluate players and place them within appropriate groups.
✓ Organizing and implementing practice sessions, on-court coaching, team travel, travelling with players for the tournament, fundraising, assisting with monitoring student- athlete academic progress, administrative paperwork, responsible for center Equipment and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or director of the ITF training Center.

May 2018: Private Head coach for the Lambardt Sisters in Namibia.

✓ Normal working days was involved overseeing the training of the players in the morning and afternoon for 6 hours a day and administration
✓ Delivering and implement a yearly coaching, match play and fitness program
✓ Travel to local and international tournaments with players
✓ Accompany players to tournament at weekend matches.

October 2019- Present: Yituo Sport Development (Senior Tennis Coach) Taizhou, China.

✓ Normal working days was involved overseeing the training of the players in the morning and afternoon for 6 hours a day and administration
✓ Delivering and implement a yearly coaching, match play and fitness program
✓ Travel to local and international tournaments with players
✓ Accompany players to tournament at weekend matches.

July and August 2020: Burundi National Training Camp and National Tournament (Expert).

October 1st to October 4th 2020: ITF Play-Tennis Course Expert In Bujumbura

✓ Organize and deliver content to coaches.
✓ Asses the coaches both in theory and practical and upload their scores to the ITF scorecards.
✓ Prepare a report to the ITF at the end of the course.

8th October to 11th October: ITF Play-Tennis Course Expert In Gitega.

✓ Organize and deliver content to coaches.
✓ Asses the coaches both in theory and practical and upload their scores to the ITF scorecards.
✓ Prepare a report to the ITF at the end of the course.

2020- 2021: Private Head coach for MBAKUYE’S sons in Burundi.

✓ Normal working days was involved overseeing the training of the players in the morning and afternoon for 2 to 5 hours a day and administration
✓ Delivering and implement a yearly coaching, match play and fitness program
✓ Travel to local and international tournaments with players
✓ Accompany players to tournament at weekend matches.

2022- 2023: Private coaching in Dubai

✓ Majorly involved with the training of both performance tennis for juniors, mini tennis and adult tennis.
✓ Organizing and overseeing periodical competitions at the academy.
✓ Daily, weekly and monthly reporting and planning for training sessions.
