Vladimir Voltchkov - High Performance Tennis Coach

Hello from Vladimir Voltchkov. I’m in High Perfomance Tennis already more than 30 years. Having started as a player myself, I finished my Junior career #3 in the world and won Juniors Wimbledon in 1996. In 2000 I got into Wimbledon semi final from qualifications and lost to Sampras. Throughout  my PRO career I won several challengers and played ATP finals.

My best career ranking 25 ATP. As a player I was happy to work with such coaches like Edelman,Leonuk, Günter Bresnik, Claudio Pistolesi. I went through different metodologies of high performance tennis training in former USSR, American, Spanish, Italian and Austrian tennis schools. All that experience built me into a world level pro tennis player and most importantly enriched my knowledge as a high performance tennis coach.

My coaching career started as a hitting partner and an assistent coach in Maria Sharapova’s team. I have been tramendously fortunate to work together with legendary coaches Thomas Hogsted and Yataka Nakamura. During this time Maria won 2 Grand Slams, Silver Olympic medal and went back to #1 WTA.

Following a great experience in the field i have accepted a role of a Vice President/Head Coach/Davis Cup captain in Belarus Tennis Federation where we managed to build a system which in 5 years made historical results for mens and womens teams. This system has produced many solid ATP and WTA pro players including qurrent world n1 Sabalenka Aryna.

Last 2 years my team and me are running a tennis academy in Turkey hosting international players from all over the world.
