About Me
I honed my game in Brazil before competing for the University of West Florida, where I became NCAA Division II National Champion as both a player and assistant coach. Tennis has been a lifelong passion, shaping my discipline, resilience, and leadership. Outside the court, I enjoy playing padel, soccer, and exploring the ocean through freediving. Travel and experiencing new cultures also inspire me, as does mentoring players and sharing the life lessons that sport provides.

Carlos was one of the most committed and impactful players I had the privilege of coaching at UWF. His understanding of the game goes beyond technique. He combines discipline, strategic thinking, and a natural ability to teach others. As both a player and assistant coach, he elevated those around him, simplifying complex concepts into lessons that athletes at any level could grasp and apply immediately. I’ve seen him guide complete beginners to confident competitors in just a matter of months, and I have no doubt he brings that same passion and effectiveness to every coaching session today.

I had the pleasure of competing alongside Carlos at UWF, where his leadership and dedication were evident both on and off the court. He not only pushed himself to the highest standards but also motivated teammates to believe in their potential. What makes Carlos stand out as a coach is his unique balance: he can demand excellence while making the process enjoyable and inspiring. Even years later, I continue to see how his knowledge, patience, and ability to connect with players of all levels leave a lasting mark on their development and love for the game.

I coached Carlos from the age of 14 to 18, a crucial stage in any player’s development, and his dedication, work ethic, and hunger to improve always stood out. He absorbed the game with intensity and intelligence, quickly transforming technical guidance into consistent performance on court. Beyond his talent, Carlos had a natural ability to inspire teammates and lead by example—qualities that now make him not only a strong player but also an outstanding coach who can guide others through the same journey of growth.

Carlos is an outstanding coach. I took his intro lessons in Sydney, never having held a racket before, and they gave me a flawless start in tennis. He taught the basics in a way that felt advanced yet simple, making it easy to learn, apply, and keep improving. In just 8 months I went from a complete beginner to a solid high-intermediate player, and at clubs my technique and fundamentals are often praised.
