About you

My goal is to be a top 100 player at some point during my career and keep on improving on being a better version of myself

I learned tennis in Saudi Arabia and I like to play billiard. I won 3 ITF junior titles and started my pro tour early and had good results from my first tournaments. I decided to follow my dream after I finished my junior career. I come from an athletic family where all of us played tennis but I pursued it as my career. I started getting good around 13/14 years old when I started winning local tournaments in Egypt. That’s when I decided to play ITF and travel to Lebanon then Jordan, where I won my first ITF tournament. I tried finishing my junior career top 100 but towards the end of it I face some mental problems that made my career high 220. I decided to follow through and continue the dream with the pro circuit and see where it takes me.

Apart from tennis I am an active guy more or less. I like to have fun with my friends playing billiard or darts and just enjoy a good meal out, preferably a steak one. I have four brothers who all play sports competitively so we all know how the lifestyle is of finding the right balance between fun and work. I would say I am close to my mom, we talk on a daily basis about our dogs and about pretty much anything but tennis so that keeps our relationship as good as it can get.

Current and Previous Coach, Club & Academies

My coach at the moment is Karim Maamoun and my club home is AL AHLY.

Previously I was coached by a local coach in Egypt where he helped learn my skills and improve when I was a junior but then I needed to move on to learn more than just tennis skills.

I went to IMG Academy when I was young for 2 weeks of practice before.
