Hi, I’m Iván!
My history with tennis began thanks to my father. He was the one who got me into this world, and I will always be grateful to this sport for having allowed me to share so many moments with him. Since then, tennis has never stopped being part of my life.
I’m a tennis teacher with experience in competition at regional and national level. One of the most special moments of my junior phase was being able to participate for two consecutive years in the Mutua Madrid Open U16, a tournament that marked me both on a sporting and personal level.
I studied Audiovisual Communication, an education that has allowed me to develop my passion for photography and video editing. That’s why, in addition to coaching, I can also lend a hand with the club’s social media management and create content that connects with players, families and fans.
I consider myself a calm and empathetic person, but on the court I like the training sessions to have rhythm, intention and intensity. I believe that the mental aspect is as important as technique or tactics, and that’s why I try to work on that part with the players as well.
Off the court, I love being in contact with nature, especially in the mountains and on the beach, where I recharge my energy and find inspiration.
I am looking forward to continue sharing this passion for tennis and helping each player to bring out their best version of themselves, on and off the court.
Although I have no experience as a padel coach, I also play padel several times a month.
He's easy to get along with. What I would highlight most about Iván is that he tries to make you understand the reasons behind things in tennis, whether you are a beginner or a competitive player. He didn't just tell you how to move, how to hit the ball or where to play it, he made you understand why we did it that way.

In addition to technical and tactical aspects, Iván has helped me a lot in terms of how to mentally manage matches. And I also have to admit that although when I did physical training with him it was sometimes a bit hard for me, in matches I noticed the difference in my legs.
