Experience
Josh first started coaching at the age of 17. Having been a part of the world renown Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative as a player, as soon as Josh achieved his coaching qualifications he started coaching on the scheme. He was then a regular coach on the WJTI, which is based at the famous All England Lawn Tennis Club, throughout university and after.
During university Josh represented and went on to captain the men’s 1st team for Bournemouth university. He also joined the International Club (IC) representing the IC of Great Britain in many fixtures. At the end of Josh’s time studying for a Sport Management degree he joined the Teddy Tennis team and started his own franchise.
Josh invested in the exclusive rights to start a Teddy Tennis Franchise in the London Borough of Kingston and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Since then he has been establishing and growing Teddy Tennis in these areas. Josh has since merged his franchises and now manages six in total across the SW of London.
The franchises now teach over 1500 children a week and Josh manages a team of 11 full time coaches. The brand uses music, pictures and Teddy Bear stories to keep the younger children engaged and enthralled with the Teddy Tennis lessons. It has been a major hit in over 100 schools and nurseries within the South West of London.
Josh’s business has run the most successful franchises in the continuously growing, worldwide, company that is Teddy Tennis.

"Thanks for taking the class and being great with the kids. The main thing at this stage is that they all feel included and welcome at Teddy Tennis. Without having fun no learning would take place. The coach makes all the difference."
