My name is Luis Foix, I am 24 and I am a highly experienced tennis coach from Spain currently working at the John McEnroe Tennis Academy in New York. Over the past seven years, I have coached players of all ages and skill levels at prestigious institutions, including Ferrer Tennis Academy in Spain and several clubs across New York City.

As a former NCAA Division 1 college athlete, ITF and ATP Futures competitor, and team captain, I have a deep understanding of competitive tennis, highlighted by clinching the decisive point for my team at the NCAA D1 Northeastern Conference Championship. I also have experience coaching and playing padel and pickleball.

In addition to my tennis expertise, I hold a Master’s in digital marketing and a Bachelor’s in business management, both earned in New York. I am fluent in English and Spanish, possess basic proficiency in French, and excel in marketing, sales, and customer relationship management. I also have experience stringing. I am confident that my combined athletic experience, strong leadership, and business experience will significantly contribute to the growth and success of any academy or club.

Qualifications

Native English and Spanish, and beginner French.
PTR Level One Certification

U10 Certification
Spanish and U.S driver license
Very familiar with padel and pickleball coaching.

Coaching tennis has helped me develop public speaking skills, patience, and leadership since I work with all types of clients (different levels and different ages, from 3-year-old kids, to adults). It helped me improve my management skills since I have to manage most of my clients (booking, cancelling, communicating with them on a daily basis through phone and emails).

Travel to tournaments with kids, making sure I give them the best advices to succeed in their matches, engage a lot with the parents, make sure I talk to the kid after the match, and write reports about the match after, and send it to the parents via email.
