My name is Martijn Belgraver,General Manager of the Rafa Nadal Academy Kuwait, where i am responsible for new business development, strategic partnerships, and international tennis and padel events. Since 2019, i have worked closely with the Kuwait Tennis Federation to promote grassroots tennis and position the Academy as the region’s leading excellence center for sports and fitness.I have over 30 years experience in tennis as a player, coach,and executive.

Further information
In my current capacity as the GM i have dealt with all the federations in the GCC regarding Arabic events and the GCC games and previously dealt with most of the European tennis entities such as Tennis Europe and ITF regarding international events that took place in my Academy in the Netherlands.
In the past 5 years the Rafa Nadal Academy Kuwait has been the host of ITF Men’s Futures,ATF junior U12-14-16 tournaments as well as a World Cup in Padel which has been an enriching experience.
About Me
My great passion tennis has literally brought me all the good things you can value in life,my health,a fantastic daughter who now is on tour and great personal experiences.
I have been a tennis player in the 1990’ies with a best ATP ranking of top 200 and a National title in 1999.
As founder and owner of Intime Tennis Academie in the Netherlands for 19 years a great many dutch junior and european champions as well as top 100 ATP and WTA players were trained over the course of these years.
Currently i am the General Manager at Rafa Nadal Academy Kuwait and have helped shape the project from inception to a club with both high performance, junior tennis development as well as being host to international events.
