About Me

Dear Tennis Fellow Fans,

It is my pleasure to introduce myself – my name is Matt Evans a tennis coach from the U.K.

Since an early age I have found myself passionately curious and hypotised by the elegance, beauty and simplistic complexity of tennis. My tennis journey began having idolised the great Pete Sampras who captured my 7 year old imagination with his awe inspiring representation of the game. What started as childhood hobbie quickly evolved into a relentlessly passionate pursuit which began my development as a competitive player and later on to exploring the incredible possiblities that exisit within teaching and coaching.

Now as a coach of nearly 20years experience I am delighted to say my love for the game and it’s infinite ability to challenge, grow and connect people is a pure as ever. I am privileged to be in a position whereby I can use the game of tennis to help people who share my passion for the sport along their personal development journeys.

Tennis creates meaningful, valuable and robust connections and experiences for people of all ages and I feel fortunate that it has helped shape and grow my character and personality in such a profound way.

Away from tennis I love all sport and in recent years enjoy exploring new experiences with cusine and culinary skills.

I hope to explore new and exciting relationships and envrionments through a shared and mutual love of tennis and I sincerely look forward to meeting you all!

Look forward to hearing from you and getting on court!!

Testimonial

I really enjoyed my time working and travelling with Matt. He was always able to clearly explain his drills and the reasons behind doing them, along with examples from my matches or previous practice sessions so I was able to see how it was specifically relevant to my game. I felt he had a clear vision as to how my style of tennis should be played and was able to differentiate between my game and others he was also working with, who had a totally different style. His coaching wasn’t a case of one size fits all. I enjoyed the coaching relationship we had as it was a type of a partnership rather than feeling he would dictate or speak down to me. Equally I didn’t feel he couldn’t be authoritative when needed, there was always a good balance. I think he cares a lot for his players well being as well as their game and always put our needs as professionals above his own personal wants.
