As a tennis coach, I believe that the game is a lot than just winning, but about personal growth, character development, and community building. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment that allows players to reach their full potential.

As a performance-driven coach and development coach, having guided players from red ball to green dot levels, including my youngest family members Manelisi (red dot), Eugine (orange dot),Des\\\’ree (green dot)and Mandisi (12&under), together with aspiring professionals such as Mehluli Sibanda (ATP high 750), Ethan Sibanda (Davis cup), and Mengezi Sibanda( national top junior) , my success is measured by:

– The growth and development of my players, both on and off the court
– The achievement of player goals, whether technical, tactical, physical, or mental
– The creation of a supportive and inclusive team environment
– The development of players\\\’ emotional intelligence, resilience, and sportsmanship
– The success of my players in local, national, and international competitions

Ultimately, success is defined by the positive impact you have on players lives and the game of tennis as a whole.

Cambridge IGCSE high School Diploma
Bachelor of Accounting in Commerce Honors, Zimbabwe Open University – Currently enrolled, 4 semesters remaining
ITF Level 1 certified (Coaching Beginner Intermediate Players)
St John Ambulance association basic first aid (2020)
ITF Coaching Female players CPD course
ITF Play tennis certified

It all began with my father, whose passion and dedication to our tennis development inspired us to reach great heights, despite him never having played the sport himself. Under his guidance, my siblings and I rose to become top national, regional champions & International champions. As I continued to grow and pursue my tennis dreams, I transitioned to the prestigious Tuks High-Performance Tennis Academy. This move marked a significant turning point in my journey, providing me with access to world-class coaching, training facilities, and competition. As a tennis coach and experienced player (ATP High 1692 Singles, 1676 Doubles, ITF Junior Ranking 645), I’ve come to realize that the game extends far beyond the thrill of victory. To myself, tennis is a powerful catalyst for personal growth, character development, and community building. As a passionate Tennis player and accomplished tennis coach, I’ve had the privilege of honing my skills at the esteemed Tuks Tennis High Performance Centre, University of Pretoria (2014-2018). Under the guidance of renowned experts, including:

I transitioned to high-performance coaching, refining my expertise and shaping my coaching philosophy. Beyond tennis, I am driven by diverse interests that fuel my creativity and problem-solving skills:

Passions:

Classic Car Restoration: I relish finding and restoring vintage cars, combining attention to detail with analytical thinking to revive their former glory.
Psychology: An avid reader of psychology books and research, I focus on sports psychology, motivation, and human behavior, seeking insights to enhance player performance.
Travel: Exploring new destinations, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and connecting with people from varied backgrounds broadens my perspective and enriches my life.
