Testimonial

To whom it may concern; I have known Dean Barclay since 1977 when his father Ian started coaching me. I had known of Dean as a competitor in the junior events prior to me joining the sought after and highly recommended Barclay coaching system at Heatherdale an east Melbourne suburb. Dean was one of the best juniors in Victoria and Australia and had an extensive junior results. Dean continued in tennis and other sports before a rare illness took over, fortunately Dean fully recovered though his chance at an elite tennis career had suffered. Dean quickly became an elite coach and through his time on the world circuit coached top German Davis Cup player Eric Jelen during the boom in German tennis in the early 90's. He also worked within the Germany club system which is the most prestigious club system in the world. I was fortunate to have Dean coach me for over a year in 1995 and we travelling extensively around the world to the biggest events in tennis. When I retired Dean coached a variety of top juniors both in Australia and abroad proving his status as one of Australia's best coaches. Dean's well mannered nature aligned with an exceptional reputation has made him an extremely popular and sought after coach both in Australia and Internationally. With his massive experience all the way from junior club to world tour level coaching I would not hesitate to recommend Dean in any tennis capacity.

Pat Cash - former Wimbledon Winner, Davis Cup Winner and ATP #4.
