I started playing tennis in my freshman year of high school, and was fortunate enough to learn from coach Glider. When I was a high school player, coach Glider was always willing to donate his time to hitting with me and teaching me most of what I know as a tennis player today. He spent hours with me preparing for big matches, developing my approach shots, and was nothing but positive and motivational. He has always been happy to dedicate his time to working with me, and encouraging me to reach the next level. I would not be the tennis player, and collegiate athlete that I am today had I not had the opportunity to learn from Gavin Glider.

I have been playing since eighth grade, but I wasn’t playing real tennis until I was coached by Coach Glider. I started playing tennis with Coach Glider my junior year of high school, and I know that I would not be playing in college if it weren’t for him. He pushed me, and believed in me like none of my other coaches before. He is willing to put in the time and effort because he wants to see people succeed. Coach Glider truly cares about the players that he is training and that is what makes him a great coach.

Having the opportunity to learn from Coach Glider during my Junior and Senior years in high school has had a tremendous impact on me, allowing me to improve my form and techniques as well as my overall understanding of the game. The investment of his time, talents, and resources, both on and off the court, have helped me to grow into the player that I am today and have opened the door to opportunities beyond the high school level. Coach Glider’s positive attitude, genuine passion for the sport, and dedication to his players allows him to have a lasting impact on their lives.
