Hello, my name is Megan Davies. I am a PTR qualified tennis coach with over 3 years of teaching experience. I am an ex college athlete and international junior tennis player. I teach with a high level of enthusiasm and encouragement. I am looking for a teaching job for the summer of 2025.

I grew up in England playing tennis from a young age. I played tournaments all over the UK in LTA tournaments until I was around 14 years old, and then transitioned into the Junior ITF tennis circuit. During this time I trained at the University of Bath tennis academy, and reached a ranking high of 204.
For college I moved to the USA and attended the University of South Carolina as a student-athlete, earning a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree. Since graduating I have been teaching tennis in Florida at John’s Island Club (winter season) and New York at Bridgehampton Club (summer season).
I enjoy being with friends, walking on the beach and working out.
I am a hard working and dedicated person that will strive to make every program better. I am in search of a summer job in Europe.

Johns Island Club- Florida. Assistant Tennis Professional
October 2022 – May (present & seasonal)
Provide fun and fast paced pickleball parties for more than 40 people.
Instruct private and group tennis and pickleball lessons to members of all ages and abilities.
Plan and lead tennis camps, drills and specialty clinics( cardio, liveball, 105)
Assist in planning and leading league matches, tournaments, events and social events.
Bridgehampton Club- New York. Junior Assistant Professional
June 2023 – Sep 2023 & June 2024 – Sept 2024
Taught private and group lessons, helped organise and run junior clinics and team practices, and matches.
Responsible for planning and organising all ladies team matches.
Plan and lead all adult clinics (cardio, liveball, 105, team practice and doubles strategy)- participation doubled from the previous year
