My journey in the world of tennis began at the age of 9 when I joined a group of enthusiastic kids. Over the course of two years, my dedication and passion for the sport earned me a spot in a smaller, more focused training group within a medium-sized club in Prague. As I continued to evolve my skills, at the age of 12, I made the pivotal transition to having a private performance coach who provided personalized guidance to help me refine my game. Alongside this coaching, I started regularly participating in matches, where I honed my competitive edge and continued to develop as a tennis player. Between the ages of 16 and 18, I reached an impressive milestone in my tennis journey by competing at the national level. This period of my tennis career marked a significant step forward in my development as a player. It provided me with invaluable exposure to high-level competition and an opportunity to test my skills against some of the best players in the country. This experience not only enhanced my tennis abilities but also deepened my passion for the sport, reinforcing my commitment to becoming a tennis and fitness coach who could share my expertise and enthusiasm with others.

In my free time, I have a deep love for adventure and the great outdoors. I find solace and excitement in hiking through rugged mountain trails, taking in the breathtaking views. On the other hand, I’m a thrill-seeker, often hitting the open road on my motorbike, relishing the freedom of each ride. Additionally, I enjoy the serenity of cycling, whether it’s a leisurely cruise through the city or an endurance challenge on scenic routes. These hobbies not only keep me physically active but also provide a sense of balance and fulfillment in my life.

As a passionate and dedicated tennis coach, I am committed to continuous self-improvement and education. Over the past few months, I have actively sought opportunities to expand my knowledge and refine my coaching skills to provide the best possible guidance to my players.

I recently completed the Asics Coaching Academy seminar, which provided me with valuable insights into the latest techniques and strategies in tennis coaching. This seminar emphasized the importance of a holistic approach, focusing on both the physical and mental aspects of the game. The knowledge gained from this experience has allowed me to implement more effective training routines and mental conditioning exercises with my players.

Additionally, I attended the ITF Non-Linear Learning seminar, where I delved into innovative coaching methodologies that challenge traditional linear approaches. This seminar highlighted the significance of adaptive learning and the need to tailor coaching methods to the individual needs of each player. By incorporating non-linear learning principles, I have been able to foster a more dynamic and personalized coaching environment, enabling my players to develop their skills more efficiently and enjoyably.

Currently, I am working towards obtaining my GPTCA Level C certification from the ATP Tennis. This prestigious certification is recognized globally and is a testament to my commitment to excellence in tennis coaching. The rigorous training and comprehensive curriculum of the GPTCA program are equipping me with advanced techniques and a deeper understanding of the game, further enhancing my ability to coach players at all levels.
In addition to my tennis coaching pursuits, I am also working on gaining experience in Padel. This fast-growing sport shares similarities with tennis but requires unique strategies and techniques. By expanding my expertise to include Padel, I aim to offer a more diverse range of coaching services and cater to a broader spectrum of athletes. My exploration into Padel coaching is enriching my overall understanding of racket sports and providing new perspectives that I can incorporate into my tennis coaching practices.

Through these educational pursuits and my commitment to gaining experience in both tennis and Padel, I am continually evolving as a coach. My ultimate goal is to empower my players with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed on and off the court. I am excited to apply the latest coaching methodologies and insights to help each player reach their full potential and achieve their athletic aspirations.

Experience

My coaching journey begun during my first year at university, where I began to hone my skills as an instructor at local tennis school. In 2007, I took a significant step forward in my coaching career when I started leading group lessons tailored for children aged 6 to 10 years old. These early coaching experiences allowed me to develop not only my technical knowledge but also my ability to communicate and connect with young athletes.

In 2008 made Czech Tennis Coaching Qualification Level 1 (equivalent to ITF Level 1)

In 2012, I embarked on an exciting new chapter in my coaching journey by joining a tennis academy led by none other than former professional tennis player Lucie Hradecká.

In 2015 Czech Tennis Coaching Qualification Level 2 (equivalent to ITF Level 2)

Since 2018, I’ve taken my passion and expertise for tennis coaching to the next level by establishing my very own tennis academy in the city of Prague.

During the years I have attended many tennis symposiums and workshops. In the last 3 years, for example with Louis Cayer or Simon Wheatley.

I've been playing tennis for 9 months and I picked up many bad habits that Pavel was able to fix quickly and effectively. In particular, Pavel helped me achieve correct posture while performing kick serves and helped me realize that I need to be stable during my forehand and backend. I was also thrilled, as Pavel is a professional tennis player himself, so he was able to analyze all my mistakes quickly. Very friendly and fun approach. My only regret is not finding Pavel sooner! Wholeheartedly recommended!

I recently had my first tennis lesson with Coach Pavel and it was an outstanding experience. As a complete beginner, I was a bit nervous about starting, but Pavel immediately put me at ease with his friendly and approachable demeanor. From the very beginning Coach Pavel took the time to explain the basics, ensuring I understood the fundamentals. His instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the learning process enjoyable and effective. I appreciated his positive reinforcement and encouragement, which boosted my confidence on the court. Pavel also made the session fun by incorporating a variety of exercises that kept me engaged and challenged. By the end of the lesson I felt a greater enthusiasm for the sport. Overall, I highly recommend Coach Pavel to anyone looking to learn or improve their tennis game. His expertise, teaching style and genuine passion for tennis make him an excellent coach for players of all levels.
