Siyabulela Nkachela

North West
South Africa

I am a gamechanger of note and have used the #tennislifestyle as a vehicle to making an impact and difference in the tennis ecosystem across South Africa, Africa and the world.

ITF Level 2 Coaching Certificate

BA Communication Honours

BA (Media and Politics specialization)

Since April 2014 the entrepreneurial acumen in Nkachela has led to the founding and coining of a #tennislifestyle which talks to opening tennis to everyone and diversifying the ecosystem in the process.

In 2015, TennisLabSA was registered and along with it came the setting up of:

  • Tennis Academies at Schools
  • Community Tennis Initiatives
  • Apprentice Coaching Centre
  • Street Tennis Initiatives
  • Money Events and Tours

The below are premium tennis events conceptualized, implemented:

  • Mahikeng Tennis Open,
  • African Grand Slam,
  • Durban Open,
  • Kempton Park Tennis Open,
  • Tshwane Tennis Challenge,
  • Centurion Tennis Open,
  • Junior Tennis Cup,
  • Tennis PlayDays,
  • BounceBack Wheelchair Tennis Event

When not on the tennis court or doing tennis, Siyabulela enjoys watching soccer, Formula 1 and bingeing on a variety of Documentaries.
